Spring and Summer Sports

Whew!  I feel like we were on activity overload the last couple of months!  The boys continued their weekly ninja class, Georgia Kate continued her weekly tumbling class, and Reid and GK wrapped up their first year of piano lessons!

We love Ms. Heather!

In addition to their regular weekly activities, we threw in two baseball seasons, a volleyball season, and swim team.

Rhett's ROCKIES Season:
Rhett had a great second season of baseball!  This year he played 6U, which was a hybrid of coach pitch and t-ball.

One of Rhett's biggest (littlest) fans! ;)

We love our lefty batters!

Georgia Kate's EAGLES Volleyball Season:
After trying softball in the fall (and already spending SO much time at the fields), we encouraged Georgia to try something new!  She's tall and enjoys air conditioning, so volleyball seemed like it could be a good fit!  ;) She really liked it and wants to try it again.

Reid's CRUSHERS Season:
Well, we ventured into the world of select baseball this year, and just as we anticipated, it was A LOT.  Thankfully, Reid loves baseball A LOT.  He never once complained and truly had a ball.  We are really proud of how hard he worked this season!

Georgia Kate met a sweet, new friend, Emery, this season!

These two sat through SO MANY BASEBALL GAMES this season.  I'm proud of them too!

Guinny braved the heat to come out and watch a game!

Reid and Georgia's FIREFISH Swim Season:
After a few summers of wondering what all the fuss was about, we decided to give swim team a go.  Our conclusion?  We aren't really swim team people. ;)  The meets were kind of fun, but the practices were a little much for us.  We're glad we tried it, but we won't be doing it again.

Somehow I don't have pictures of the kids with their very supportive and wonderful grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  These kids truly have the BEST family.  We always laugh because the Sciba kids have the largest cheering section at every single event and we feel so lucky!!
