A Day in the Country

On Saturday we spent some time in Chappell Hill with some of our good friends.  The kids had THE BEST time.  It was just good old fashioned fun!

Reid caught his very first fish!

and posed on a tractor, all while doing her best to look the part of a country girl. :)

Bluebonnets 2015

Let me just say that getting decent pictures of an almost 4 year old and a 20 month old is nearly impossible!  Reid loved the bluebonnets and just wanted to run around and play in them (which is fine) and Georgia Kate just wasn't into the situation in general. :) Oh well!  

These make me laugh!

Easter Weekend

We had a very busy, but wonderful Easter weekend!

On Thursday, Reid had an egg hunt at school.

His teacher sent me this picture!  Serious egg hunting going on there!

On Friday we went to Smiley to spend time with Grandma, Grandpa, Sue, Christie, and Seth!  Gotta have on boots when you're in the country! ;)

On Saturday we drove to Brenham with Musmie and Poppies to see the bluebonnets and take some pictures.  Let's just say that the picture part wasn't super successful, but we did in fact see the bluebonnets! :) I'll save the rest of our bluebonnet pictures for another post.  

We went to the Brenham Airport for lunch at the Southern Flyer Diner!  It was yummy and the kids loved watching the planes fly in and out as we ate!

On Sunday we went to church and then spent the day at Musmie and Poppies' house!

I love this picture because I think it captures their personalities perfectly!
