Rhett lost his first tooth!
Back to School at BCA!
We are now a month into our new school year at our new school! 4th grade for Reid, 3rd grade for Georgia Kate, kindergarten for Rhett, and 1st grade for ME! It's been a great start for all of us, despite a few bumps in the road.
Meet the Teacher x4!
Rhett and Mrs. Black
I'm pretty sure Rhett might be the first kindergartener to pass up his teacher in height by the end of the year. ;) Sweet Mrs. Black got Covid a couple of days into school, so she was out for two weeks after that. We were all happy when she came back!
Georgia Kate and Mrs. Peeples
GK has known her teacher for a few years! Mrs. Peeples' daughter and Georgia Kate were in the same kindergarten class, along with a few other of her 3rd grade classmates!
Reid and Mrs. Saenz
We are SO excited that Mrs. Saenz is one of Reid's teachers!
I'm sad that I didn't take any before pictures, but here is my home away from home! Well, it was my home away from home until the AC broke in our area and I had to move out 2 weeks into school. ;) The AC has been a complicated situation, but I hope to be able to move back into this space soon!
The Night Before Kindergarten
Well, in true Rhett fashion, he woke up with a fever on the first day of kindergarten. :( He has a history of getting sick the first week of school. It threw us for a little bit of a loop, but thankfully Chris was able to work from home and Reid, GK, and I managed to get to school on time for our first day.

After a year of homeschooling, we had two very excited kids!
At last... our baby's first day of KINDERGARTEN!
As we move into this next chapter of all of our children being in school, I'm so thankful that I get to be there with them and be a part of their days!
We are looking forward to a wonderful year together!
