Reid seems to have changed so much in just the last week! The biggest change is that I think we can officially call him a walker! He has been taking steps for a month or so, but it was mostly prompted by us and he usually would only walk between two people or between someone and the couch. Well, on Tuesday he decided to just take off! He was in the living room and I went to get something from the study, and when I turned around, there he was, just walking into the study behind me! He was so sweet to cooperate and do it again so I could get pictures. :) Ever since then, he's just been toddling around! Does that mean I'm supposed to call him a toddler?? I don't think I'm going to quite yet. ;)
He is so proud and has the BIGGEST smile on his face and giggles when he is done walking.
Overall, I just feel like he is so much more coordinated now. It's so fun to see him figure things out and understand more and more each day. My new favorite thing that he understands is, "Give mommy a kiss!" He thinks giving a kiss is biting my face, but I still love it. :) Eventually I will straighten that out though because I definitely don't want him to be a biter! Something silly that he's doing that I don't want to forget is when he "hides" he only covers one ear! He has these plastic bowls that he loves to play with and I'll say, "Where's Reid?" and he covers up his ear instead of his face. Silly boy! I'm also pretty sure he said "mama" this week! It's so hard to know whether it's intentional or not! :)
