We had a busy, but fun weekend! On Friday the kids and I visited another pumpkin patch. I wanted them to just be able to play and have fun without worrying about me trying to take tons of pictures of them. :)
This little one enjoyed running around and finding pumpkins to eat. ;) Fun fact: My mom used to have a t-shirt making business when I was younger (elementary age). She found this one in her sewing closet that she never sold!

After the pumpkin patch I decided to be brave and take the kids to get mexican food for lunch and I'm happy to report that it was successful! Success = there were chips and queso for entertainment, our food came out in record time, and nobody had a meltdown. Yay!
Sister was over the tiny pieces of chicken and tortilla. She just helped herself to the whole thing!
Chris got home early from work (after naps), so we painted our pumpkins.
Friday night our friends the Leys came over for dinner! Katy is also Reid's teacher and this was the first time they've come over since school started. Reid asked a lot of questions before they got there. He wasn't quite sure about his teacher coming to his house, but he was very excited to see his friends! :)
Saturday morning we had plans to take the kids to get their flu shots at our pediatrician's office and then I was going to meet some friends at the Celebrations Christmas Market. We took two cars so that I could leave straight from the pediatrician's office to meet them. Well, as the kids and I were driving down I-10, I ran over something and my tire completely popped. It was scary! We heard the loud noise right away and within 10 seconds my tired was basically gone. It was really scary trying to exit and get all the way over on the feeder road without a tire. Thankfully we were able to pull into a church parking lot and Chris came to put on the spare.
We played in the Second Baptist parking lot and cheered Daddy on! :)
I wasn't able to go to Celebrations, but I was able to meet up with Amanda, Allison, and Avery for lunch and celebrate Allison officially becoming a Houstonian!
Saturday night we went to a friend's house to play and have dinner! (not the best picture, but definitely adorable kiddos)
Chris was leaving town for the week on Sunday, so my parents offered to have the kids come play while I spent time alone at home! I was able to make some progress on organizing the clothes the kids have outgrown and also relax for a little while! I thought Peachy looked adorable! :)
Our wonderful friends the Myers had the kids and I over for a delicious dinner on Sunday night! Reid and Tiffany had fun decorating a pumpkin before dinner. This family is so special to us!
This morning at Ibloom we had the privilege of hearing Melanie Shankle speak! She is the author of Sparkly Green Earrings and Big Mama Blog. I have been looking forward to this since August and she was every bit as wonderful as I had hoped! It was such a fun morning!
