December!
Chris took the kids to the ranch the first part of Thanksgiving week. While they were gone I decorated the house for Christmas with the exception of hanging ornaments on the tree. This is something we always do as a family and our tradition on that night is that the kids get new Christmas pajamas, a new Christmas book, and an ornament to represent something about them that year.
I sure do love these Christmas babies!
Reid's ornament this year was dominoes because he loves any type of game.
Georgia Kate got a paint palette because we can always find her drawing, painting, or crafting something!
Rhett's ornament is a soccer ball because he started and LOVED soccer in the fall!
Early in the month we went with our cuzzies to see Santa at Bass Pro! The kids wrote letters before we went. ALL Reid wanted was an elf. We have never had an elf at our house this year, but he must have been pretty convincing because a couple of days after visiting Santa, our elf arrived.
Introducing... Desmond. Desmond was named after a random football player whose stats Reid was impressed with while studying/memorizing his 2019 college football preview magazine. Sigh.

A watch and a wellie wisher doll were at the top of Georgia's list!
Rhett was really hoping for some dinosaurs!
Time to meet SANTA!
Mumsie and Popsie treated us to a fun night at Santa's Wonderland! We had the best time!
Rhett rode a horse for the first time and was so happy.
Reid and Georgia Kate got to go see The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever with Pierce and Emery!
We sure do love these special friends!
Gingerbread house making at school with my baby!
Rhett had his Christmas program at school.
We made gingerbread houses!
Georgia had her Christmas recital and this year Perry was in it too!
Dancing cuzzies!
Perry's biggest fan. :)
Rhett had a cookie decorating play date at his friend Tatum's house.
Georgia Kate went to an ornament making party at her friend Chloe's house and got to see two of her sweet kindergarten friends that she hasn't seen since last school year, June and Audrey.
We watched the big kids sing in the annual Wolman Jingle Bell Walk! This was GK's first one. I didn't catch a picture of Reid.
This guy was happy to watch!
We went to our third Teddy Bear Tea at the St. Regis with the Comeaux crew and it was just as adorable as ever. This might be my favorite Christmas tradition!
December was busy and so much fun!

Halloween + Thanksgiving + Fall Fun In Between
Some Fall Fun Highlights...
Dad's Night at Preschool
We love our annual trip to Blessington Farms!
Pumpkin Carving - Reid practically carved his by himself this year!
We made "Nate the Great" for our book character pumpkin for school this year!
Little Boy Blue had a great Nursery Rhyme Day!
We had a beautiful, chilly Halloween and it was such a fun night of trick-or-treating!
Georgia the Unicorn
"Forky" Reid
Rhett the Knight
Sweet Cuzzie Crew
We made the rounds with Case, Maggie-Jaymes, Oscar, Teddy, and Matilda.
Rhett and I went to the zoo one morning and had the best time together!
Chris and I took Reid to an Astros/Yankees playoff game!
We loved cheering on the Astros this season!
Chris and Georgia Kate went to the Wolman Father/Daughter Dance! Georgia was a little overwhelmed by the experience, but she eventually warmed up and I think they had fun. I was on the committee and had a great time working with the other moms. Here's a peek at some of our decor from "A Night in Paris".
These two attended an Aggie game together!
Our girl is still having fun dancing every week...
Our boys wrapped up their fall sports...
Rhett and Perry's team won their soccer season apparently we think!? Haha! This boy loved soccer.
Reid's team finished the season with a championship! Go Hooks!
Houston has actually had a little bit of fall foliage this year and we were so happy about it!
Just a sweet picture of these two...
We kicked off Thanksgiving week with class parties! :)
Chris and his parents took the kids down to the ranch for a few days at the beginning of the week and I stayed here. It was SO weird being home without my people, but I was also really thankful for the break. I got so much done and also relaxed, but I was more than ready to see them when they came home.
Thanksgiving Day was spent at Alli and John's house. This is the only picture I took. :( What you don't see is that Rhett isn't wearing any pants in this picture because all of a sudden every single item of clothing he owns "hurts him".
The rest of the week was really low-key. We did venture out to NRG Stadium to watch the Katy Tigers play.
Whew! And now it's DECEMBER!
