Christmas 2020

We had the most wonderful Christmas this year.  The kids are still at such magical ages and we were so thankful to get to be with family!

Christmas Eve was spent at Mumsie and Popsie's house!  We spent the day eating, playing, decorating cookies, and just enjoying our time together.

We made the kids get dressed up to watch church online and take pictures. :)

Alli and I had this handprint platter made for Mumsie and Popsie.  We were beyond happy with how it turned out!

We always save presents for last and we had some VERY excited kids!

They loved all of their gifts, especially Georgia's tumbling mat and the boys' foosball table!

We came home on Christmas Eve night, put cookies and milk out for Santa, and got to bed!  We have the tradition of the kids sleeping in our room on Christmas Eve (a tradition we had growing up).  When we woke up, Santa had come!

Sleepy faces ready to see what Santa brought

Next, it was time for the kids to open presents from us! They were so excited and grateful for their surprises and it made me so happy!

We were not able to go to Gonzales on Christmas this year, but Grandma and Grandpa came over for Christmas lunch!

They all three became obsessed with Dude Perfect in quarantine (we were late to the party) and they were so excited about their DP shirts!

We also had a plate made for Grandma and Grandpa!

Two days after Christmas, Chris and the kids went to the ranch for three nights and I stayed home.  We have had a LOT of time together this year, so I didn't feel too bad about it. ;). I missed them, but I was also grateful for the time to get the house back in order and relax.  They came back in time for New Years.  We had a low-key night at home saying goodbye to the most weird, yet wonderful year!
