I feel like this summer has FLOWN by! Last summer we pretty much spent every day in the pool before Georgia Kate was born. We have only gone swimming a few times this summer, but luckily we still have a couple of months left to change that! Here is a little bit of what we've been up to (in no particular order because I don't feel like rearranging the pictures)… :)
We went to Surfside for our annual Preston family reunion!
We've spent some time with our friend Penelope!
We played with Mommy's jewelry...
and then had a FIT when she took it away! ;)
We went to Midland to visit family and enjoy the lack of humidity!
We played at a fun new place in Katy called Giggles and Fun!
We went on a ride in the bike trailer...
and tried out the nasty, germ infested fun race car cart at HEB!
We made a little morning visit to see the ducks and turtles (per Reid's request).
Reid's backpack, lunch box, and nap mat came in for preschool and I was very sentimental and emotional about it.
We've played lots of HiHo Cherry-o!
We took Reid to the circus. He was not that impressed with the actual circus part (he loved seeing the animals beforehand) and ended up leaving early.
We are looking forward to more fun in August!
Lots of fun packed into a short time, that's for sure! I love how much traveling your whole fam does together- I bet Reid & GK love having them all around!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the name "Giggles and Fun" makes me want to throw up a little. At least they didn't spell it "Gigglez"… then I would have had to stage a protest.
Haha I was going to say something similar to Amanda re: Giggles and Fun - shocking, I'm sure :) Also, is that the first time you had to use one of those race car carts at HEB?!?! If so, I'm impressed that it took you this long. They also gross me out, even though I wipe down all the surfaces before I let Davis get in. Maybe one day I'll work up the courage to get Avery in with him :)
