Georgia Kate is 4 months old!

Our little Georgia peach turned 4 months old on Friday!  What a wonderful 4 months it's been!

As babies have a tendency to do, she's growing right before our eyes!  She is up to size 2 diapers and is in 6-9 month clothes!  Georgia still eats every 2.5 to 3 hours during the day and mostly takes 4 naps (usually 2 in the pack n play, one on the go, and one in the ergo).  She is waking up 2-3 times a night and seems to be an early riser, waking up "for the day" around 6:00 most days.  She didn't get the memo that we (me) aren't morning people around here! ;) I am just so thankful for her though.  The long nights and early mornings are MORE than worth it.  We moved her pack n play into the guest room downstairs last week in hopes that eliminating noises from the dogs or us moving around will help her sleep better.  I'm not ready to have her upstairs in her nursery quite yet.  It melts my heart when she smiles and gets excited to see me when I come to get her after a nap or in the morning.  It's one of the best feelings in the world!    

One of my favorite things that Georgia Kate does is clasp her little hands together.  She does it all the time and she looks so girly and proper!  She also holds them in front of her face and just stares at them.

We have definitely entered the drooling/hands in her mouth phase. She is starting to grab toys on her play mat, she likes to look at books, and loves to watch her big brother.  She also loves to play "patty cake"! Because she is the second child, she's pretty good at being "along for the ride"!  She is so happy to hang out in the Bjorn (facing outwards).  Her latest trick is rolling from back to tummy!  She did it for the first time on the 18th and does it pretty consistently now!   She has found her voice and loves to hear herself squeal!  She loves to be sung to.  Her favorite song is "Georgia on my Mind", naturally. :) It's the song I sing to her the most and her face lights up every time.  She also loves "Jesus Loves Me" and "You are my Sunshine".  

I love what a happy girl she's been this month and I love how she smiles with her whole face...eyes, nose, and mouth!  She NEVER smiles in pictures though!  Those cheeks make it a lot of work. ;)
