Celebrating Georgia Kate's 8th birthday!

We loved celebrating our birthday girl this year!

A few days before her birthday we had a jewelry making party with some of her sweet friends!  Multiplicity in old Katy did a great job with the girls.

On July 22nd, GK woke up to her birthday table!  We had donuts and she opened her gifts!  She was SO surprised to find out that she was going to get her ears pierced for her birthday!  She had been asking for months and I always told her she had to wait until she was 10.  She was so, so happy!!  We had an appointment for the next day.  We gifted her a pair of silver heart studs from James Avery, which are the same earrings my parents got me when I got my ears pierced 28 years ago!

She spent the rest of her day rollerblading (her gift from Grandma and Grandpa), having ice cream for lunch, going to her tumbling class, and then having a family birthday dinner at Lozano's!

The day after her birthday, we went to Target to have her ears pierced by a wonderful nurse with a company called Rowan!  The nurse made it easy and as pain-free as possible.  There were no tears and we had a very happy girl! :)

It was a fun few days celebrating our fun-loving birthday girl!
