Well, the kids have been hoping for snow and much to our surprise, we got some SNOW!
We had promised the cousins a Valentine's Day sleepover, so on Sunday the 14th we did just that! Chris went back home to sleep, but I stayed at Alli's.

The kids knew that snow was a possibility and the anticipation woke them up EARLY!
They were beyond thrilled when they looked out the window!
It was crazy to look down the street and see this!
The first couple of hours the kids were in and out of the house playing! It was REALLY COLD outside, so some lasted longer than others.
The rest of the week was kind of a blur. School was cancelled and the power was off and on. Our house was extremely cold, but we were very fortunate not to have had any damage inside our home. For that we are so thankful!
Once the roads were safe, the kids and I made the trek over to Mumsie and Popsie's house for some electricity and a warm night's sleep. Chris wanted to stay home to monitor the pipe situation.
The kids finally got to make their little snowman! :)
Just another crazy thing to add to a crazy year!
